Weaving Water was first an art installation, an interwoven tapestry of algae and female human hair. The artwork is composed of approximately 100 unique biomaterial samples, cut up and intuitively rewoven together.

Mimicking this process, each sample was photographed in detail, cropped multiple times and pieced back together to create a 100 page publication which documents the project as a biomaterial archive.
